The holes in the carpet where I assume once stood a radiator, are unsightly. We used some WD40 to stop the door handles, into the bathroom and lounge, squeaking so badly, as it woke one of us up, each time the other went to the bath room at night. Small things, that if put right, would enhance a stay as this fabulous place. We assume that Graythwaite don’t bother to try very hard because the surroundings are so beautiful, and people will always come anyway. The cleaners that visited last Saturday were so noisy, it frightened our dog! Perhaps they are so busy being noisy, they don’t actually achieve a particularly good clean!?
