A perfect family place to stay & has been even better second time round! Did lots of walking & the children have had a great time paddling & fishing in the lake.
Convenient location, great for self-catering, plenty of space. Loved pottering around Keswick. Lovely holiday, walking & relaxing. Enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the conservatory. Saw lots of red squirrels in the local woods.
Our second visit to Grisedale & we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Excellent accommodation - clean, comfortable, warm. Managed lots of walks - not used the car much at all. Good walk along the railway track to Threlkeld. A week's not long enough! Ho
Loved it here on the riverside ......Kids enjoyed the pool and the climbing wall.

An excellent all-round stay in Grisedale. We used everything except the gym - good food and good treatments in Oxley's.
